We head west and follow the natural transition of rocks and sandy bottom. Rays often lying in the sand, patrolling barracudas and groupers do not let boredom arise. In front of the arena, the “Pico” is a great and interesting lava rock ridge. With many holes and crevices, it is great fun to go exploring here with a uw-torch. The “Pico” should definitely be completely circumnavigated, as it is always possible to come across an offshore sea turtle.
