Boat Spot: “Garajau Drift” In Uw – Nature Reserve Park

Only 8 – 10 minutes by boat, in the underwater nature reserve, lies the famous Cap Garajau. This spot is known for one of the largest inshore fish, the brown grouper. With a length of up to 1.5m, these large specimens can live up to 60 years. They are used to divers and approach us visitors with curiosity, perfect for taking great photos. As the drift dive starts in shallow water, it is also super suitable for inexperienced divers. Easy to dive due to the one-way dive profile, with the large variety of fish schools, barracuda schools, and mackerels, this dive site is one of the top spots in the north-eastern Atlantic and was named one of the “100 best dive spots in the world” by a diving magazine.
