Only 8 – 10 minutes by boat from the dive center, in the underwater nature reserve, lies the famous Cap Garajau. This spot is known for one of the largest coastal fish, the brown grouper. With a length of up to 1.5m, these large specimens can live up to 60 years. They are used to divers and approach us visitors with curiosity, perfect for taking great photos. Due to the short time required, the clear dive profile and the great variety of species with schools of bream, barracuda and mackerel, this dive site is one of the top spots in the north-eastern Atlantic and was named one of the “100 best dive sites in the world” by Underwater magazine.
